Bulletin Board Programs:
Each month, the SJC provides each Residential Colleges with a
bulletin board discussing a Social Justice issue. These topics
are chosen by our members, and usually deal with an issue currently
in the news or an issue of current relevance.
Meetings:
The SJC has open meetings every Sunday at 8 p.m. in the SJC Suite--located
on the ground floor of Helen Umrath Hall (on the South 40). Please
join us!
Assembly Series:
Each year, the SJC works with the Assembly Series to bring a speaker
on social justice issues. This year, we will be bringing Paul
Rusesabagina
to campus on Wed. April 18. Look for this event, plus more events
from the SJC around this date.
Facilitations/Programs:
SJC members are trained to facilitate many discussions on a variety
of topics. RA's, student organizations, and departments are welcome
to contac the SJC with their ideas and we will work to personalize
a program or facilitation for your particular needs. In
the past, we have done facilitations revolving around: the movie
"Crash", GLBT issues, disability awareness, and many
others. Interested in having the SJC facilitate for you or your
group, email us today!
